Past the Angolan border crossing and below Ruacana Falls was our campsite along the river. We had the campsites to ourselves and the river was just below our site. There was some cattle grazing and a Himba man came to collect them. It was the first time either of us had encountered a traditional Himba person. That night we had a fire and watched the stars that expanded from horizon to horizon. Something that we hadn't experienced in quite awhile either....it almost made us dizzy looking up.
