Our final activity in Australia was to drive down the coast to the nearby Great Ocean Road. Although it is possible to do this drive within one day we decided to take our time here and spent 2 nights there, enabling us to see everything that was there to see. Rated as one of the best scenic drives in the world it came as a bit of a dissapointment that the weather was a bit shabby, but we didn't do to bad.

Our first day on the road took us to many surfing beaches along miles of beautiful coastline and to the lighthouse that featured in the kids tv program 'Round the twist'. Funny. The day ended in the town of Lorne where we parked our car in the campsite , bought a case of beer then headed to the one open bar in town. Lorne had some funny characters & a decent waterfall.
