We have been to French Polynesia and the Cook Islands. They are all beuatiful islands formed by the tips of ancient volcanoes poking out of the sea floor thousands of feet below.
So far Rarotonga in the Cook Islands is my favorite place. I have many photos but this crummy wi fi aboard the ship will not let me upload them. Too narrow of band width I,m told. Today we are at 16S166W. Nothing but blue sky and dark blue water. Temperature 75 degrees is a bit cooler than most days of 80-84 degrees.
We will be in Pago Pago in American Samoa at 8 AM tomorrow morning. We have been informed that there is little evidence of the tsunami here. We may see some of the devastation if we get to other side of the island.
I will upload photos in Australia when I have a better connection I hope. We are in a satellite dead zone so we get no CNN or ESPN for now. The only news we get is courtesy of R. Murdoch, Australia's most famous citizen.
