After using the shower facilities in Lake Superior Provincial Park after two days in the back country, we made a clean exit towards our next destination, Pukaskwa, about noon. But unfortunately, after getting supplies and doing laundry in Wawa, daylight traveling time ran out near White River; the home of Whinnie-the-Pooh where their annual festival ended the day we arrived :(. I did take a picture for JC, in case he becomes a wandering man some summer.

The White Lake Provincial Park, twenty minutes west of White River, was a nice spot to hang our hats for the night assuming one can sleep through the numerous nightly freight train traffic on the TransCanada route. Our campsite overlooked the lake and was acceptably close enough for Bogie (the dog). However, early morning (04:00) brought a huge storm which put Bogie in the car shaking; although Cindy and I loved it, plus the tent survived flood-wise, with the closest Thor strike being less than a quarter of a second away.

Packed away a wet fly in the morning and headed to our real destination -- Pukaskwa National Park... Stay tuned.
