What I did
Brooklyn Park Pebble Beach
Went out to hunt for a real NY bagel for breakfast; they are definitely great. After a relaxing breakfast, I toured the waterfront while the "girls" had their
"pretty" session. The replacement World Trade Centre buildings are growing quickly and are already the tallest in NYC. The view of the Brooklyn bridge, Statue of Liberty and NYC skyline was
worth the hike.
The wedding was on Pebble beach, which is between the Brooklyn and Manhatten bridges on the East River. The ceremony was really nice with the flower girls and their mothers all in coordinated purple. The bride and groom, aka Shari and Zach, looked seriously happy during the ceremony and
ecstatic walking off along the beach as Mr & Mrs Bower.
The reception was just around the corner at "rebar" where the festiviites continued way
beyond my stamina level - a good time was had by all. The artwork at this club was pretty interesting.
