Picked up Porter's bike first thing this morning and believe it or not, they did get everything from the car into or on the bike.....and what they were carrying for us, we got put away too! Just can't pick up anything else!
It was great to see them back on the bike and it was a beautiful day to ride. Sprinkled alittle this morning, but as we rode east it cleared up and the sky was a beautiful blue with puffy white clouds! I think the temp. got up to 90 so it did get "alittle warm" on the bike as the day went on. Tom kept asking Randy and Linda how the "air conditioning" was working?
We did run in to a rain shower a couple times but it didn't last long and it felt good!
We took 90 East all the way to Spearfish, So. Dakota. We went approximately 400 miles today through Montana, Wyoming and now in SD. Pretty good day for not getting on the road until around 11AM. We are only about 35 miles from Rapid City, SD.
While Porter's were returning their rental car, we had the Honda dealership change our oil and grease some stuff. Once Randy and Linda got back from the car rental we hit the road.
The day was pretty uneventful. We stopped to see Custer's Last Stand grounds but only saw a gift shop......we must have missed something??!!
We ate tonight at the Cedar Lodge close to the Days Inn. I tried Rocky Mountain Oysters - never had oysters that didn't come from a shell!? Linda talked me into them...she fixes them at home. They were good. Another new experience for me!
We've attached some pictures of Montana and Wyoming. Tomorrow we'll include some from SD as we are headed to Mt. Rushmore, Black Hills and Sturgis tomorrow....then further east!
Adios!

Thank you, Tom, for doing the laundry for us so I could work on the blog! Such a good man. His mother taught him well.
