Early pick up from our hostel to get a 3 hour bus to Surat Thani. We then had to get a transfer bus to Donsak pier. After another hour waiting for the ferry we were on our way to Koh Pha Ngan. This was our last island before heading back to Bangkok. The ferry took nearly 3 hours and then we had another taxi ride before arriving on Hat Rin Beach. Tom found us a nice bungalow so we decided we'd spend 5 nights here chilling out before our return home.

We had a very lazy few days which consisted of reading on the beach, eating and enjoying lots of fruit shakes. We went for a few Samson buckets one evening and went to a beach party. They had a fire skipping rope which some very drunk people were attempting and getting burnt on. Another evening we watched Slum Dog Millionaire which was a really good film. Other than that we were pretty boring but it was just so nice to do nothing for week 51 of our trip.

An early rise to get our last few hours out in the sun before a long trip back to Bangkok. We decided to get one more mode of transport ticked of so we jumped on a jet ski. It was awesome but Tom as usual didn't listen to the slow down commands from his co-pilot! I t was brilliant looking over at the beach with no-one on it as it was still so early. After brunch we had a taxi ride back to the ferry pier, the ferry to Donsak, bus to Surat Thani, then a few hours wait before the night bus picked us up and we headed back to Bangkok.
