Our friend Peti decided to have a going away party for us. She made chicken pot pies and we got a few coolers full of Vailima, the big boys, and the little ones. The big ones being 40oz of 6.7% beer. They will put you down quick. We had a bunch of the friends we have made here over, and just sat around and had a good time. I played with Tupu, Clarence, and Toa, Peti and David's sons, and put down my last "big V" even though I am on anitbiotics for my staff infection.

Good times.

This last week has been spent in preparation, and caring for John, who has been quite sick, with a staff infection, and an allergic reaction to the penicillin he was on. Tommorrow we head for Apia, and then off to New Zealand to start the third leg of our journies.

Staph infection???
I thought that was back in the polluted LA waters not in some pristine beach in Samoa!
Anyway, I heard that beer drinking actually cures the staph infecton. At least that's what I was told. Margaritas too!
Ps We saw three octopus and a lobster today. Still in Turkey, having a blast.
