Since the time where I hadn't seen the sun for 2 weeks, I had been ready for a boring do-nothing beach day. Just like today! Aditionally, having heard many good things about Sihanoukville along the traveller's grapevine, the decision to go to Cambodia's beach capital for a day was an easy one.

What a great relaxed place! A few backpackers and several (young) Khmers had the long beaches with lots of super-comfy beach chairs under shady palm trees all to themselves.

I read my book, had a nap, had a fruitshake, changed into a different beach chair (the shade had moved), had another nap, then felt energetic and had a slow wander down the beach for a few km before napping again. Followed by another fruitshake and some freshly bbqed squids. What a great day! Batteries: recharged.
