My first visit was Asakusa.  Asakusa might be one of the most historical place in Tokyo.  This particular place has preserved most of old Tokyo.  First, I went to Sensoji, to see a very historical Buddhist temple built in the 7th century.  It was very interesting especially when i got to the shopping center where they had many souvenirs and snacks for all the tourists. The food will always obviously be my favored part.  I was interested when I saw the food like Osenbei(meaning rice crackers) and the Kibidango(Skewered kibi-balls covered with soybean powder). Ouch! first time spending my money in the Shopping Center.  My sweet treats were about a hundred yen. To top off the day I went to see the Asakusa shrine.  This shrine survived the air raids in 1945, but that wasn't the reason it is very popular to visit.

Later on I just walked back to the hotel for some rest, what a day!
