I could probably summarize today in a matter of sentences.
We slept in and elected to make the most of our luxury hotel.
After another buffet breakfast, we took the Lebua free shuttle to the pool @ Holiday Inn (as our pool is under renovation). Keen to look for jewellery for Nat, I politely asked the driver. Surely he couldnt be 'dodgy' he works for a 5 star hotel? He recommended a government warehouse store, and I suggested we'd consider it later on (after confirming the safety of this).
After swimming and laying by the pool for a couple hours, we returned back to Lebua by shuttle, via the same driver.
We spent the afternoon lazing at the Lebua Tower Club lounge, enjoying free hot snacks, wine, cheese and scones. From here, I went to reception to query the validity of this 'Government Warehouse Store.' Conceirge seemed baffled and terrified by this. I didnt really care, nothing had happened, I just wanted to know if it was a possibility. They stated nothing like the place recommended existed. As I'd seen and assumed, most jewellers were closed today (Sunday). They requested the drivers card and details he'd given. I think I hear him being dragged away in chains now.
Tonight, we've booked dinner @ Breeze resteraunt @ Lebua. It looks stunning and im looking forward to it. Nat is currently getting her nails done, and shortly I might head downstairs for a Thai massage.
Tomorrow our last day will hopefully be spent @ Bangkok open range Zoo.
