I thought I would fill you in on some interesting things that I have learned about Uganda thus far.

1. Cars drive on the left side of the road. Most of the time.
2. Boda Boda's (motorcycle's for hire) are the scariest thing ever.
3.
If you tell an African to meet you at 1:oopm, don't actually expect to
see them until at least 1:30. This theory has been tested and proven,
and is known as African Time.
4. There is no such thing as ketchup,
only a gel like tomato sauce. For those of you who know me well enough,
you know how I feel about this.
5. Contrary to popular belief, the
immigration officials at Entebbe airport were NOT lions. trust me, I
was as sad as you probably are.

There is more but I can't
remember it right now. Yesterday we played a soccer game against aids
orphans aged 18 and under. Football is the national sport here, and
surprisingly we only lost 3-1...not bad at all! I played midfield, and
actually had some sweet steals...that being said once I had the ball my
kick "downfield" ended up as a kick to my opponent. oh well, I tried.

We
had a great visit to Lake Mburo today. Saw some pretty sweet
wildlife...next week we go to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is
the biggest and nicest one in the country!

Okay that is it for now, I will write more later this week.
