How do Omani men pee?

That is the question that has been bothering me since I arrived in Muscat about 24 hours
ago.
About 50% of men on the street here wear the traditional “dishdasha”, a sort of robe
looking like a long sleeved, collarless shirt, but continuing like a bulky dress all the way to
the ankles. Nearly always pure white, occasionally khaki, grey or brown, and sometimes
with a very modest decoration around the neck. However, after intense, though discreet,
observation, I can confirm that there is no fly or opening in a suitable location at the front.
Therefore, how do they pee? Do they hitch it all up while standing, or do they sit down like
ladies?
Which brings me to a related question: what do they wear under it?
Methinks that in the interest of global understanding, I must pursue my research. Perhaps I
should hang out in a public loo until all is revealed?

Looking in the loo ...
If you allot an appreciative amount of time investigating Arab potty protocol, you may also walk wide-eyed into another anthropological discovery: Omani onanism.
Not that I recommend you engage in such research: Their tent-like robes suggest they prefer their privacy.
(And yes, I wrote this comment simply to seize the opportunity to employ the phrase 'Omani onanism.' The likelihood that such a chance will arise again is infinitesimally small. Thank you for this once-in-a-lifetime stroke of luck.)
Oh my God...................
....you're beginning to sound like George Michael !!
