I woke up around 9 and was meeting the girls at 11 so I decided to check out some of Sham Shui Po, which had a dragon centre (which is a shopping mall, Gwen you were probs thinking you could buy a dragon :L). I saw the market type area and got some breakfast from a diner.

This was the day we decided to see the city centre, which is cunningly named 'central'. So I met the girls at central station where Molly had a list of things she wanted to see and do, this first was Ladder Street which is a long street that intersects with the main ones but has lots of stalls and things, a bit like a market. The girls immediately bought hula necklace so my idea of looking less like a tourist was blown out of the water...

So we looked around at the shops for a while then Molly led us to Man Mo Temple, which was really strange as it looked very traditional but was next to sky scrapers and in the middle of the city. We went in and lit some incense and looked at the statues. It was really cool and was very smoky because there were so many candles and things. So we left after about 20mins and headed to get some coffee and 'McCaffe' I didn't get anything, Abby ordered like a normal person and Molly spent about 15 minutes changing her mind over and over again, finally she settled on one and as were leaving she tripped on the stairs and spilt it everywhere! Ahaha, this provided some good banta for a while. Then we went to some outside escalators, which sounds quite dull but are quite famous and really cool as they're on walkways above the ground so you can see lots of HK.

Next, we went to get some lunch but didn’t want to go anywhere touristy so we found a small restaurant and I had the best meal of the trip so far, it was a noodles and beef soup. Plus my chopstick skills had improved a lot!

Then I headed to Dan’s to get some Money and prepare my stuff for the Mountain hike we were doing the next day (I know, exciting right!). So I met the girls and we went to Mong Kok (I bet Ad's is laughing at that name). It was soooo bust, I don't know if there was an event but it was heaving with people. We went to another indoor market, which was less entertaining than Stanley market as it was mainly female shopping, so the girls loved it!

So we got the MTR to a posher area of HK as we wanted to go the space museum, which was quite interactive, we tried space walking (which is really uncomfortable) and saw lots of cool things there and it was only a pound. We headed back to the Farrel's where I cooked some pasta and sauce for us (basic, but good from me as I don't cook). Then Colin let us have a bottle of wine so again we sat upon the roof admiring the view and chatting till about 2 in the morning (trust me the view doesn't get boring!). And I stayed at the Farrel's that night.
