The Toilet Museum
Out for a walk last month Tanya and Jessica (friends of mine who work at the school,) came across and interesting museum right in the middle of Lake Park in Ilsan.
It was the Sanitation Exhibition. Really what this amounted to was a museum decidated to various toilets around the world. What this bizarre use of tax payer's money was doing in the middle of a civic park is completely beyond me. Even more bizarre was how seriously everyone there took the exhibition. While we fought to hold back laughter and bewilderment, Koreans casually strolled through the exhibition consisting of examples of eastern and western toilets, squatters, biffys, "shit streets," even mannequins showing the equipment in action.
