We woke up around Noon and I took a bunch of clothes to a local Laundromat so I had more fresh things to wear. After that Chuck and I ventured out to the city, We first went to Dam Square again and then stopped at a small pancake place in one of the small streets off the beaten path.  Chuck had a sub and I ate a mixed fruit pancake.  It was think like a Crepe and was extremely tasty!   Pancake and a beer... YUM!  We continued walking and got some tickets to walk through Anne Franks house and got to see how the Jews had to hide from the Nazi's.  Crazy how small the rooms where and how hidden they had to be!  We then got on a tram and went on our way to find the Heineken Brewery.  It was simply amazing, you get two drinks with your admission ticket.  We got to go through a simulation that basically brew’s you so you know how it’s all done and then it’s basically a tour of how everything is done.  We asked why the local Heineken tastes different than that in the States and she thought it must be the shipping times and light hitting the bottles during this time because it’s all shipped and made in that local brewery and not anywhere else.  We met a couple guys from LA called Tourin and Steve that we chatted with while we had our beers.  Afterwords we grabbed a cab and headed back to the hotel.  I went and picked up my clothes (all washed!) and then we got ready to go out.

We went out around 7pm and asked the front desk what a good place to eat would be.  She recommended some that were close but Chuck and I wanted to eat in the square.  We headed back in to town and ate at a Argentinian Grille.  Chuck had half a chicken and I had the steak with fries.  It was actually really good and the waitress was totally cool!  We asked her what a fun place to go to would be and she suggested some place in Shiesesplein.  After eating we walked next door to a bar and had some beers.  After the beers we left and started looking for this place.  I honestly think we walked the whole town, we were everywhere!  We stopped at another bar and asked some locals where would be some good places to go and they recommended some place called Paradiso.  Turns out Paradiso was like Clutch Cargo’s so we decided not to go in.  Instead we walked by Jimmy Woo’s and we were on the list (thanks to our awesome concierge) but then tonight it was only all black dress night so we weren’t dressed right.  Instead we went to a central square area and got an awesome place outside.  We drank some more beers and finally headed back around 2am.  Turns out a lot of places close at 1am (coffeeshops) and 2am (most bars).  We were hungry so we stopped at McDonalds (only place open) and got some food.  Then we kept walking some more (did I tell you that I think we pretty much walked all of Amsterdam?) and saw another McDonalds very close to our hotel.  We bought some ice cream flurries and went back to pass out.  Paris tomorrow!
