A week with Joyce, Bob & Debra, enjoy the photos - we don't get to see them often enough! So, it was good to catch up and spend some time with them.. Really hot there during the day - but perfect weather for stargazing in the evening! Donna gets a little nervous outside after dark when the coyotes howl, and it is certainly not a place to take your dog (burrs, sharp edged ground cover that can cut their pads), but the warm winds feel good. Donna and I spent an afternoon at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Bison (Tahtonka!), long-long horned cattle roaming free, and unusual birds. The cattle around the park headquarters were especially friendly - they would come right up to the windows and look at you, and lick the glass to give you a big kiss!
