Well, after a serious hangover all-round, we are ready for the Inca Trail tomorrow. Had a big night last night so all sufffering this morning although Davy and I still got up at 7am to go to the pub to watch the football on the telly. Suffice to say we were not drinking after the previous night's binge but still watched two matches back to back whilst playing 23 frames of pool followed by a McDonald's. Really cultural stuff!

T-M suffering big time and has looked pale and sickly all day. Doubtless she will learn not to drink so much in future though. ha ha

We are being picked up at 3.50am tomorrow for a 2-hour bus journey before we stat the climb about 7. The first day will be hard allegedly with a 11km march followed by a serious 5km steep ascent. We are all looking forward to it but also wondering how we will fare as all knackered just walking up the street here, never mind the Inca Trail! Should be interesting alright.

I am a wee bit nervous with the heights but will have to soldier on as too involved now.....

Hopefully all will be well and sure it will but this will be the last blog for a few days until we are back in Cusco on Wednesday 25th. Have another 2 nights in Cusco once we get back and then the plan is to move down to Puno, Lake Titicaca and the Salt Flats on the Peruvian/Bolivian border!

Hasta luego for now.

this is better than any travel book I've read. Keep it coming and enjoy yourselves. xx

Well, you know what they say, those who play must pay. It sounds as though TM is paying two fold. Sounds like you are having a wonderful time so far and I'll make sure I keep checking your next adventure update. Take care and safe travels.
