The start of the drive was very windy indeed with the first hour or more making Linda feel very car sick...maybe just my driving!!!
We drove down the 99 fwy through Fresno and then connected back onto the I-5 and hit the traffic coming into the city.
We arrived at Anaheim at approx 16:00 and went straight to the Honda Center to get our tickets for the Buckcherry / Kiss concert tonight and also the Anaheim Ducks tomorrow night at the same stadium.
What do you know???? They only print them 1.5 hours before the game so I could only get the Buckcherry ones tonight. Means another early trip to the center to pick up them both nights.
The Buckcherry gig was "Da Bomb" as the locals might say. I even think Linda was a little impressed how good they sounded live.......pretty close to CD standard (but not as close as Britney!).
After the 50 mins of Buckcherry the main event came on. Kiss.
They hit the stage at 20:45 and the fireworks etc were pretty cool, but the music was as good. They were very tight for the whole gig and the audience were quite impressed with all songs, but as far as we are concerned it would be our last Kiss Gig. The first sone I knew the tune of came on at 22:13 and the 1st actual song I knew was on at 22:30. The encore was the best part where I knew another 2 songs and Linda her 1st and only. Still it was a good show, but would have been better for us if the bands were on in the other order.
A 2.4 Mile walk home seen us stop in at "Del Taco" for a taco and shake before sacking it around 1 ish again.
