AHhhhhhhhhhh......another fine day in Greece! Today we went to the most famous museum in Greece and it was awesome! There are historical artifacts that date back to 5800 BC in the museum. Neither of us had much interest in the pottery or fine arts sections (Zzzzzz) so we spent most of our time wandering through the statues sections. WOW....the detail is amazing, and to think that they were carved any where between 3500BC and 1000AD. Crazy when you think of the tools they might have been working with....INSANE!! Not really much else to say about it so we'll let the pictures speak for themselves!

Aphrodite and Eros

Sarphogus

We also went down to Pireaus port to organize our travel to the islands over the next week. We have decided to skip Crete since the main things we wanted to do there are closed due to the "winter" season. So, tomorrow we will be heading to Aegina, then Dec 4-7 we will be in Mykonos and then Dec 7-11 we will be Santorini. All of this travel for $185 euro for both of us.....amazing considering the hotel tried to sell us a 2-day trip to Mykonos for $190 euro!! We are such value-shoppers!! haha :o)

Zeus's 1 Arm

Ok, we are off again for another night....keep watching for updates.
