Milford Sound scenic cruising today started at 6 a.m. and I didn't get up until 8:30 a.m. By the time I went upstairs to eat some breakfast I missed the whole Sound. I didn't even realize it, so I was a bit disappointed but I guess we will hit several other sounds yet today. Looking out the window as I waited for my kids to show up for programming I marvelled at how similar it looks to Glacier Bay, AK. The Sounds are fjords like in AK, but because we are here in the summer the snow has already melted. Just like Glacier Bay it is also raining and cold. Seriously, looking out the window I feel like I'm in a time warp and am back on the Z last summer.
Those are my sea days across the Tasman - I survived and lived to tell about it!
