This is a last minutes itinerary I decided to chip in. Not very far from Gold Coast that's a city in fact it’s the capital of Queensland call Brisbane, a cosmopolitan look alike Sydney and Melbourne but with lesser degree of historical and cultural intervention. Brisbane is just like my homeland, Malaysia, a tropical land with mild humidity atmosphere.
Bus #745 took me right after 60-70 foots step away from my hostel to Nerang Railway Station which carry me further to Roma Street Railway Station by Train.
The best thing to do to cut down transportation cost in Brisbane& Gold Coast is to get a "Go Card" which literally cut down 25-30% of transportation cost by public bus or public train unless you opt for private transport such as greyhound or Golden Shuttle.
