Ok, so the lousy-ness of yesterday is over, and today starts anew with our first run to the Magic Kingdom. I learned that the Magic Kingdom parking lot is the largest in the world and holds 12,000 vehicles. That's basically a small city. Wow! I will say though that Disney has the crowd control thing down - show us where to park, get us on a tram, ride to the gate, wait for a boat or a monorail, get to the real main gate, go inside. Process did take a while but it was smooth. We took the boat across first which gives a neat view of a couple resorts and Cinderella's Castle. Kids didn't care - just wanted to get to the park!
We basically went through Main Street, Frontierland and Adventureland, with stops at the shooting candy shop (mmmm, M&M's), shooting arcade, and Alladin's carpet ride. Then we were drenched with pouring rain, which was actually a good thing because it was so hot. The rain also scared away some park goers, so the crowds were kept in check. We also managed to catch a couple parades and a Mickey Mouse stage show. But the best was Sasha waiting to meet Pluto - when her turn came, I don't think her face could smile large enough to show her excitement. I think Pluto is her new best friend.
The highlight of the afternoon was lunch at Crystal Palace, which is a buffet restaurant with Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger. All characters visted our table, hugged the kids, signed autographs, and generally made lunch a great experience. The kids were exhausted and this really brightened up their day. Plus what a great way to make them sit still and eat lunch! Now we know the secret - all restaurants just need a guy in a big fuzzy suit to make the kids sit at the table. Maybe I can rent John out?
We're back for naps - if the rain stays away then it may be fireworks tonight.

Ok, hopefully you will get this comment! Pictures from Disney look great and mom just looks happy as a bug with her mickey mouse shirt! HAHAHA! Sounds as if you are all having a great time and the kids are enjoying it. Guess no matter where you go at the moment it's 100 degrees, so enjoy! Safe travels...
