Hi, everyone!  Yesterday was an extremely long day.  I kind of underestimated how long it was going to take to drive to Galway.  We went through the Conor Pass, which was stunning, and we stopped off at the beach in Castlegregory.  Then we headed up north, eating lunch in Listowel before crossing the Shannon on a ferry.  From there, we drove up to the Cliffs of Moher, and that was another incredible sight.  Finally, we drove through the Burren and on into Galway.

Our B&B just outside Galway is really nice.  The owner is a real sweetheart, and we got up to a great breakfast this morning before heading out to Inishmore in the Aran Islands.  That was a real blast, too.  We wore ourselves out hiking around, and that was with the benefit of a bus ride around the island.  We just got back to Galway, and wanted to send an update.

Don't have my photos handy, but as soon as I get a chance, I'll post a few more.

Tomorrow, we're off to Dublin for the last part of our trip.

PS:  It's been a little chilly here!  Just had to throw that out at you!  We'll get our share of heat soon enough...

We Miss You!!
So glad you are having such a great time! Is Inishmore where the old John Wayne movie The Quiet Man was filmed? I just can't wait to see all the pics when y'all get back home.
Enjoy your cool weather...maybe this 100+ heat will get out of here before you get back :)
Enjoy the rest of the trip. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RHONDA!!!!!
