Buenos Aires is a city completely different from Montevideo. Large, tall and very cosmpolitan but also a home to many homeless people who beg for money and lok for food in garbage bins. Montevideo is much better in this respect but also much smaller and not as impressive as the capital of Argentina. Monbtevideo as well as the whole Uruguay seems to be much quiter, more European and also pretty much without a clearly visible poverty. Most of the people there are middle clas. They do not drie fancy and expensive cars or have plenty of high-tech commodities but they are able to live their lives on a pretty decent level - at least those educated ones. We arriverd in Buenos Aires very late at night. If I was there alone at that time I would probablly ride all night through the streets of this big city but this time the group decided to go away of the urban area as soon as possible. To me it seemed as the city had so much to uncover - both the good things and the bad. I hope I will come back to Buenos and have a chance to explore it a bit more. We rode for about 3.5 hours that night and covered about 165 kms. Finally we called it a day at around 5am when we found a tiny camp-site by a large lake. On the route I managed to hit a ditch already, but at a very low speed on a muddy off-road path but managed to stay on the bike.
