We tried to wake up at seven but i turned off my alarm cause i was way too tired

i dreamt about home again, I keep dreaming that the Gold Coast is jsut another destination on our trip and i can soak up the sun for two days and then get back on with it.

We rushed out at 11am to see th Vienna riding school. it took a while but we found it and saw the morning excercises for 6€. very cute horses, Carrie loved it. It was inside a gorgeous building with chandeliers on the roof and hay on the floor Then we just went back to wandering and running into things. Luckily it is all central.

when we got out of the metro stairs to the middle of the city my jaw dropped. The buildings are so beautiful and large and tall and ornate.
Vienna is gorgeous. I know Carrie and I are in love with this city and wanna jsut stay here.

we saw the most ornate cathedral (Maccas right next door) yet and the old monarchs place with its big gardens (dead flowers and covered up statues and frozen fountains but still pretty).

we had the famous Sacher-Torte (chocolate cake at the Sacher hotel cafe). i would normally look for a cheaper version but it was €4.90 and Carrie and I shared it so it was only 2.50€ only the coat check was another 1 not happy Jan.

also went in a butterly house. i would have paid the 4.3Euro just for the humidity inside. but the butterflies were really big and pretty and flew right near you. we tried in vain to get photos of them.

we also went to the albertina museum that had one of my favourite painters from germany. Gerard Richter. and some monet and picasso of course.

Dont go to Karplatz underground station at night if u are ever in Vienna it is the homeless association. the whole thing is full of scary people we had to walk to another station and take the metro home from there. wierd.

jsut grabbed a kebab and on the internet now looking up where to next then another early night is in order.

overall vienna is beautiful and the people are surpringly nice (although maybe everywhere is compared to the czech republic)
