WARNING, dont even try to drive around Brussels, Belgium

2 hours to drive there from Luxembourg and another hour trying to find our hotel. It is an understatement to say we were frustrated.
we did however find it, then went out to the tourist spot the grand place. where there are beautiful buildings etc. mostly only interested in chocolate shops though, neuhause was the first man to invent the pralines. i can say that after one day gma and i shocked ourselves by actually not wanting anymore chocolate. we had alot!!!!!!!!! (not to mention hot chocolate).

we were all tired and gma had to leave early so we went and enjoyed our 4 star hotel and played cards. ate more!

next day we dropped gma at the train station and i said see u soon!

carrie and i went to markets outdoors. they were very cool (of course i love any markets). we couldnt handle the cold for long though. still i managed to buy mascara and a sweater. both well needed.

we wandered into any store that was open to escape the cold and found a second hand bookstore with its tiny section ^anglaise^ and we each got a cheap book and read it in a cute travellers vafe wtih travel books all around and a nice cafe olait. (oh yeah and fiy. I drink coffee now, go figure) and nice carrot soup. (i needed to feel healthier so i could eat more chocolate).
we then made it to planet chocolate for thier chocolate demonstration and history and tasting. we got heaps of truffles and could have tried more and hot chocolate that was better in barcelona and i learnt heaps more about chocolate. Totally ask me a question about the history or the process or the correct terms, names and varieties. Im a connesiour!
went to pita street or as carrie would say kebab row (according to a shop owner it is very famous and every knows it, well i dont buddy so maybe ur not as popular as u think) where 12 kebab shops on the same street compete for ur custom. annoying!! i went in the only one that didnt pester me and it was the worst one i have had in europe so far but a warm welcome after only chocolate for lunch (even thier brekky cereals are dipped in chocolate)

drove back without getting lost. woot!

have to get up 5 thirtyish for the first of our 4 trains to munich, yeah music and sleep maybe i will need a book, a small one? I left aus with one and now have a pile at mels house about 7
