Sunday and Monday kindof blur together for me so it may be hard to remember..

Sunday.
Woke up at 10am and missed breakfast. got out by noon. everything is closed on Sunday. checked the Sant Antoni markets for the third time and they were closed but they had a second hand dvd and book market around the perimeter. the most interesting thing was that across the street was a spontanious meeting of card swappers. there was an older group of teens swapping baseball cards or somethign then there was younger kids with thier parents bartering with eachother to get the best cards. it was very cute.
we had a chicken pita from the pita inn on las ramblas for 3 something euro (very cheap). so yummy and you can grab a small bowl of your own salad.
walked along the main street and found a timezone thing and played airhockey and time crisis. so fun
then we checked out the last gaudi house on passage de gracia. the gaudi batilio. 13euro (twice the eiffel, crazy) we didnt go up the sagrada familia either for 9 euro everything was under construction anyways. went back to the hostel and fell asleep at 7pm and woke up at 10pm i was so awake but got to sleep around 2am and slept in till 11.30am i felt so slack but im on holidays

Monday.
Last day and we started it at noon. nice sunny for the 8th consequitive day. the pasta at the markets was closed so i couldnt bring mel some. we ate at the pita inn again so worth it. then i got some choc truffles at the markets. one was apple so wierd aftertaste. then we went and played timecrisis again.
ummm then we walked and shopped and did nothing. i needed to buy a barcelona hat before we left cause i have a london hat and a paris hat. i couldnt decide what was steriotypically barcelona except there are alot of punk shops with badges and stuff so i found a 5euro black hat in H&M and got 3 badges to put on it.
I will have to come back to barcelona jsut to see the magic fountain working and then i can add to the badges. (its not quite punk enough yet. i got an I LOVE and one of the metro and an emily strange just to punk it up a little).

have to wake up at 5am to take a taxi to the bus stop to bus to the airport to hann then a bus to Luxembourg Gare then a train to shifflange then walk to mels so a whole day of travel tommorow.
hope yall apreciate these blogs cause they really strain my memory. i wanna put more photos up soon.
yeah colder weather, oh well i dont really envy the uncomfortable muggy weather i have been hearing about either

I'm jealous!
Hey Kristen!

Well I think you did a pretty good job considering you were straining your memory! Keep up the good work because it's way cool getting updates on your travels - I feel like I'm travelling vicariously with you!

Sounds like Barcelona was fun and like you're definitely getting into the whole Mediterranean way of life - siestas, chilling out and not rushing for anything! And it seems like you and Carrie are eating a lot of chocolate which I'm very jealous about! Hehe.

Hope the whole day travelling wasn't/isnt (?) too bad!

Miss you heaps and heaps!
xxoo.
