Rarotonga is the main island in the Cook Islands with the biggest population and the capital town. I stayed in a great hostel right on a perfect beach with lots of young travellers. Swimming in the lagoon with colourful fish and kayaking during the day, drinking games at night. I stayed only two days here before going to Aitutaki but will come back for two more when I want to do a cross-island hike and bike around the island.
