Our fantastic trip has come to an end as we await our 11:00pm Qantas departure here in Los Angeles. What was supposed to be an uneventful day didnt start that way as we ran into Charlie Crist, the Governor of Florida who was making a speech at the Dade Land Macys shopping centre where we literally spent our last seconds before catching the plane to LAX.
As school holidays are about to come to an end here, the Governor was announcing that sale tax would not be charged on school clothing and supplies as a measure to help families during the economic recovery.

Andrew was greeted with a another Chevy Camaro as we walked through the hotel doors this morning which was a bit cruel but other than that we have really enjoyed our visit to Florida.
And just to prove how much we have aclimatised to the Florida heat .... Los Angeles feels freezing outside  !!
