Currently under construction to restore some crumbling areas, Baphuon is a temple dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva. Most of the restoration work in Cambodia are donated by other countries (as Cambodia does not have the money or the resources to do so themselves). Germany and France are two of their biggest supporters, and Baphuon is currently being operated on by the French (notice the French on the sign by the entrance?) and is not completely open to visitors. It is a three-tiered temple, and much of its structures have collapsed. From here, we connect to other attractions... Elephant Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King, to name a few!
