It is a miracle that I finished packing already! I can't stop thinking about it though.. did I pack enough? Did I forget anything? I swear it's driving me crazy!

I spent the day so far sleeping in (since I have to be up all night..) and running errands. I'll be spending some quality time with family this evening and then off I go to start my adventure in China!

Being a complete travel noob, I didn't know I could pick my seats on the American Airlines website.. next thing you know, all the choices I had were in the waaay back next to the bathroom (WIN! not) and right in the middle of a row of 5 seats. It'll be an experience!

I am so ready to venture out and learn to appreciate the motherland even more, and to meet new people! I love my friends and family at home dearly though, and I'll miss you so much!

Hopefully the next time I post it'll be from Shanghai, China! Don't forget to send me your e-mail addresses, skype, etc. :)
