Arrived at 8am to Stari Grad Harbor. We took a bus into Hvar. The two cities are very close. We were not too sure where we would stay but I had a mans number that rents properties. (some guys in Rome told us about him) So... I will call him first.
To my surprise he had a three bedroom waterfront cottage available! :) Luka was so kind to pick us up from the bus station. He shows up in an old Volk. Bus! When we got in he had fresh olives, lavender and rosemary He makes his own olive oil and lavender oil. Incredible!!!
After arriving to the cottage Debra, Alett and I fell in love!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This place is breath-taking. There is only a few cottages in this cove. We have a large terrace overlooking the water. Its incredibly relaxing to hear the waves crashing onto the rocks. You have to pinch yourself being here. Luka offered to teach us to catch octopus and harvest olives in the winter in trade for free rent. Can you see me catching octopus??? jjeje This would be a sight to see! Debra wants to come back and do this. We loaded up on groceries today. We have no access to buses, internet or the phone. I feel like Gilligan on an island! :)
Croatia is beautiful but I still dont think anything can compare to Italy. It really rocked my WORLD!!!
Sunday Sept. 4th
The most relaxing day. We all slept in.. layed out by the water most of the afternoon. Our day consisted of
EATING...SLEEPING...READING....It felt so great to be incredibly LAZY!
Monday Sept. 5th
Another day of relaxing! ") Allet, Debra and I enjoyed another day by the sea. Allet made some awesome pancakes. I have never relaxed so much that I started to feel more tired. jejej Everyone should do this. Go to a remote island and enjoy your own company!!!
