Hi everyone,

Well it has been awhile since we have written. I today had my first free day from work since we arrived home from Australia on the 9th Feb. So its all been about work and Tim has been working hard too, doing late shifts with our temp job. This week we recieved really exciting news with Tim being offered an extension on his contract until the 31st May. This took away a lot of our worries and was perfect timing as the lease on our apartment finishes on the 1 June!!

To make things even more exciting I also got offered a full time extension on my temp job and yesterday quit my job at the cafe!!! I will have my last day there next Wednesday and also start another contract at the office until the 31st May.

Therefore the plan of the next motnh is to buy a little van, our new home, and to travel to the Bay of Islands, Northland and the Coromandel all parts of the very north of the north island until our jobs start on Mt Ruapehu for the ski season.

After the ski season finishes we can then cross to the south island and see the rest of NZ before heading back to Europe!!

So altohugh we are still working we are enjoying planning for some adventures and enjoying our jobs. We also have a bit to see in Auckland before we go as we want to make the most of our time here : ))

If we dont get jobs on the mountain we will have to do something else but I have a good feeling aobut it!

Today we went to the Auckland museum which was surprisingly really good. We saw some cool exhibits and are glad we went as we had heard mixed reviews. The volcano exhibit was a bit frightening considering we potentially could be working and living on an active one but I guess it adds to the excitement. Auckland to is built on a massive active field so you never know I guess.

Lots of love to all our friends and families and we will have some interesting travel stories soon xxx
