We have been traveling in Asia since the 18Th of June it has been extremely hot and we have been hanging out for the beach! So danang here we come just a 3hr train ride from hue, and was amazing scenery. Straight off the train you get swarms of people in your face asking if you want a motorbike taxi or a mini van etc.. it gets quite overwhelming especially in the intense heat. This one guy kept on "motorbike taxi" "motorbike taxi" and we had no idea where we were going so we went back in the station for some chill out time.
We were chating to these two Vietnamese girls who were very helpful and pointed us straight to the best beach, My khe beach which was 3km from the city centre, We ended up going with the really annoying motorbike taxi guy as it turns out he was really nice, Mr T was his name, and for 20,000dong each he took us to the beach and drove us around until we found the perfect accommodation, which ended up being a $15 a night room at the "Romance Hotel" not the flashiest, but all the hotels around were all booked up! so busy being the Vietnamese school holidays...we had no idea!
The water was blue as blue with golden sand and beach seats set out all along the beach front! ahhhh couldn't wait.
Now if you love seafood then you will love My Khe there are fresh seafood restaurants for africa along the beach front, which ended up being quiet a big mission for me (who hates seafood) to find dinner that night.
We ended up going to a restaurant in the city and walked home admiring the bridge lights which were really beautiful and some what kinda tacky as well.
