Let me catch you up on the last 4 days. We left Memphis early Sunday morning and crossed over the Mississippi River, destination, Little Rock, AR. We stopped for breakfast along the way at a Waffle House and at 9:30 rolled into the parking lot of Christian Life Church. CLC is a partner church in the DCFI network of churches (of which our church is also a partner church). CLC is pastored by Ted Walker. We had a great time it was just like being around family. They have a great worship band, check out the band "Boom the Wheel" on YouTube, most of the band members are on the worship team. After church we checked into the Riverfront RV park on the banks of the Arkansas river. We were across the river from the Clinton presidential library. We walked downstream, crossed the Arkansas river on the Clinton presidential bridge, walked upstream and crossed back over on a second pedestrian bridge.

We got the call from our RV dealer where to go to get our leak fixed. Off to the RV dealer and by noon we were all fixed up. Then we wandered some back roads down the Arkansas river through Pine Bluff, AR heading back towards the Mississippi River. Did you know? the AR river starts near Leadville CO, runs through Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas 1460 miles later ending up in the Mississippi. Monday night we crossed back over the Mississippi and stayed in Vicksburg, MS. Today we made it to our next destination, New Orleans. We are staying on the banks of Lake Pontchartrain. Lake P is the second largest inland salt lake in the US after the great Salt Lake in Utah. We will be here for two nights. Before it got dark, we took the scooters out and tooled around the lake a bit. Tomorrow we will head for the French Quarter.
