Merzouga is one of the popular places to go for a camel ride through the desert. I got there expecting more tourists to share a trip but when I got to the hotel, NO ONE else was there. So I ended up buying a camel ride trip by myself with a guide. It was interesting and now I can say that I rode a camel into the desert and camped out in a tent, but since I was by myself, I felt like a stupid tourist. I could hear other groups in other campsites enjoying themselves while I tried to fall asleep in an empty tent.

Now that I've experienced that, I probably won't do it again. The camel ride is kind of uncomfortable! Since that was the last tourist experience I felt like having, it was time to go collect my things from Emily's and figure out what to do next...
