We find our hostel nestled among windy streets. I was still a bit jet lagged and we were a little early to arrive so I slept while Tessa became friends with an Aussie named Luke. When we were able to leave our things in the room, we decided to go for a walk to the aboriginal museum, which was interesting but small and too contemporary for what we were expecting. We then found a local pub that had over 200 beers, so we decided it would be a good place to stop for a couple beers. That night I decided to sleep and Tessa decided to go to a club with our new friend Luke.
The next day we went for a Tessa guided walking tour of Utrecht. Our guide got us lost a couple of times but we were always able to find our way back. Between extremely random showers and sunshine, we walked through several neighborhoods, parks, churches, points of interest. I don't think I could repeat anything along that route or even find it again but it was a good walk and it kept us entertained. At the end of our journey, we decided to devour some Pommes Frites (French fries) which are so addictive and tasty we all decided we needed to start a Frites Resistence, a sort of AA program for fries... and then we went for beer.
The next day we will take the train to Bremen...
