We had an early breakfast then took the bench boat back down the river, were met at the port and bussed first to Rainforest Expeditions office and then to the airport.  We made it in plenty of time and for once the flight was on time!

We had to start taking Diamox for altitude sickness which had weird side effects like making our toes tingly.  Since we had so little time, we toughed it out and went to a market, visted the Qorikancha Inca ruin turned into Santo Domingo Church and had a much deserved massage after all that hiking!  We ended the evening with a nice show of folkloric dances from the Andes region.
