We were planning on staying in Virginia until after the holiday but could not find a campsite so we only spent a couple of nights there.  I was on a waiting list for several campgrounds and was fortunate to get a space in Townsend so we came on into Tennessee on Thursday.  There is no place like home in the Smokies!  So we end up our great trip with a traditional stay in Townsend.  Only we miss our family who is usually here with us for the fourth!  We are anxious to see them since it seems we have been gone forever.

I have spoken of the beauty we have seen, but when it comes right down to it... Tennessee has it all!!  I took a few pictures from the MH on the way down from Virginia, but it was raining and they do not do justice to the beautiful mountains of Tennessee.
 
We went to the Tennessee Smokies baseball game last night and they WON in a very exciting game!! yea!!  They had a spectacular fireworks display after the game.  We are looking forward to the fireworks tonight and a restful day tomorrow before we head home on Monday.

Happy 4th
Glad you all are having a great 4th weekend. The Smokies game sounds like fun to me. We had a good day and I got your happy birthday message for Calvin!
