We are missing the lobster though...wish we had one of those Maine lobster's about now!!!
Well, today we drove to Lockport, NY and cruised up and down the Erie Canal. We went through Locks 34 and 35, under 2 bridges that total lift straight up in one piece, and under the widest bridge along the canal. It came a terrible thunder storm about an hour before the trip and rained some during the cruise up the canal, but by the time we turned around and started back down, it was sunny. So it turned out to be a nice day, not too hot. It has been about 90 deg. around here which the locals say is very uncommon for June. After all the cold weather in Maine, we really didn't mind the heat too much. Just getting accustomed to it so we won't melt when we get home. We ate at a family restaurant in Lockport and had a nice "home cooked" meal. lol
