Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's! I took my honey, and the father of our children, out for breakfast for a good ole' Vermont organic breakfast before we left Quechee, VT this morning. We took a US highway across VT through the Green Mountains and they were beautiful. We drove into New York before we got on the Interstate. I am a back roads kinda; girl! ha! Since I have charge of the map we go where I take us! lol. You just don't see much on the Interstates and I am all about taking in everything possible there is to see. I only got us on a really narrow road once back in Maine - although he didn't say anything I think he was about to doubt my mapping ability! lol!! He hasn't taken the map away from me yet! Good thing because his sense of direction is somewhat ????? oh well, you have to love him!!! I do!!!
We made it almost to Syracuse, NY today so we drove about 200 miles. It rained on us all the way here and I took a few pics out the window, but the rain drops got in the way. I'll post them anyway since we didn't do anything exciting to take pictures of today. Hopefully we will get to Buffalo tomorrow before too late and I will be able to get some good pictures. Haven't looked at the weather there so I don't know if the rain will continue to follow us or not.
