While we are stopped in horrible traffic, I fill you in on last night's ghost hunt. We took a 10:00 PM tour. This was more than someone leading you around telling stories. A self-proclaimed paranormalist talked about experience with ghosts he's had around town. Then he passed out electromagnetic meters for us to carry around. If the meter jumps in to the yellow or red zone then you may have some supernatural activity around you.

While standing next to the Rupp house, our guide said he often found activity there. Danny's meter was jumping around some so I took a pictures. The picture showed a glowing orb on the left side of the frame. I didn't photoshop it either! I really have no explanation because later pictures did not show the orb. One other picture I took here was very hazy, like a fog had rolled in. I can't explain that one either because the next picture was clear.

Another girl in our group was picking up activity so the guide gave her some metal rods that can sometimes help communicate with the dead. He asked question of the spirit and told him to use the rods to answer. For example, he asked if the spirit was a man and the rods crossed. He came to the conclusion that this ghost was one he h encountered before named William Poole. We also used a pendulum to communicate with him.

Next we moved on to another field and came across a spirit name Dave. He was able to communicate with us using the pendulum to answer questions. The guide also had a ghost box which is an am/fm transmitter that can supposedly pick up words by spirits. Dave spoke a few words through the box. (I was pretty skeptical about this device!)

We went into the wood by one of the battlefields but didn't really get any action there. The whole hunt took about 2.5 hours and was pretty entertaining.
