* Em likes those "white ladies that talk in a high voice" that greet you when you get on your plane. She does a good impersonation too (even without the makeup).
* Video on Demand is fantastic (portable DVD players) but they shouldn't put sad movieson there because although no other passengers can see or hear what you are seeing or hearing, they CAN see and hear you sobbing.
* Sometimes although loud pink floral sheets on a bed are so offensive to your masculinity that you don't want to go in a room, sometimes you'll sleep there anyway to avoid going down 5 flights of stairs at when your body thinks it is 1 am.
* Alex keeps getting called Bebe and doesn't think too much of it. Everyone wants to touch him which is not very cool either.
* A delicious, enormous breakfast for about $2 can really make you like a place.

i know where you stayed
The food at the restaurant across the road is really good. Its the nicer looking one where you can go upstairs and they have an open balconey. They have to go across the road to the other restaurant which has the kitchen (which is also in your picture). I didnt get a message to say this entry was posted, so sorry for late reply (its 1:34 am sunday). I'm tired, sleep now.
How was the flight?
Did everyone handle the flight ok? Was it 8 hours or so? How did you go looking for a place to stay? Were you tired? It looks like you guys have got straight into it. You've done a lot in a short time. well done. When are you heading north?

Everything was/is fine. Flight was 8.25 hrs like you thought. We took off 1 hour late. The kids are enjoying the trip. Except Alex chucks a wobbly every time i ask him to do his journel!
