I was a bit sad to leave Mt Gambier this morning after such a short stay, as it really is such a beautiful place. We did have a very frosty night, with the power cutting in and out, and trucks thundering past from 4am onwards.. but despite a disturbed night, the park was a lovely place to stay.

Well, once on the road, we crossed the border into Victoria this morning, very anti-climactic, as there isn't even a sign to tell you that you have crossed it! We just had to guess!

A sweet spot for a lunch stop today was Port Fairy. (Fairy port, as the girls were calling it)
We found this place to be so picturesque, the town was so clean and of course filled with gorgeous old houses, then we drove over the Moyne river to find a quiet area to park, and found a spot by the marina. The girls were having fun throwing everything not nailed down into the river and having running races on the grass.

I loved the view of the homes along the banks, through a web of yacht masts... a very dreamy little location!

On to Warrnambool for the night

Love from Felicity and the rest of the Thommos xxx

(while setting up the van, we came across a stow-away from SA.. NOT a good surprise!)
