We hired a tuk-tuk to cover the ground over the course of one day to view these old ruins. It is around 100 degree F here and that made bicylcing the gound impossible. As it was I got pretty sunburned as we moved from site to site. I will only focus on the best shots of the most important features here.

WE visited the Kings palace there, which had its own water system. We visited the Queen's quarters with tall surounding walls. There was a museum near the Elephant Garage. We visited and I took a few snapshots of the various god figures. Now, I am not an authority on Hindu religion. So I took the photos to show you some of the god figures. They are usually accompanied by an icon, or physical detail. For example, Shiva is always accompanied by a trident. Ganesha is always has an Elephant head, the water goddess always has a water jug. ( and very nice breasts)

We took the 5:50 AM train back down the coast to Old Goa (8 hours).  Next post will be from the old Portugese colony.

Work colleague just back from 3 weeks visiting family in India. Her Anglo spouse did not seriously heed drinking water /food sanitation advice (he was taking ice in drinks, etc). Got ill on flight back to U.S. and was in ER yesterday for an IV to replace fluids, now on various antibiotics, may have Camplyobacter enteritis?? Beware, brother, beware. Happy Thanksgiving! Bro Don
