Day 1
Drove around Auckland, did a few things and then pointed the car west and headed for Piha, stopping to play some Transylvania themed mini golf which was more fun than it sounds!! Anyway we arrived into Piha around 4, drove around and found a hostel and got checked in, the hostel was gorgeous and turned out to be one of the nicest we have stayed in! We went down to the shop picked up food for dinner, came back and cooked it, lit a massive fire, played cards and relaxed and watched the Royal Tennambaums!!
Day 2
Up early, got showered, checked in for another night and had breakfast and headed for the next town which has a supermarket to get food, we made our way back to Piha then, had lunch and chilled and chatted to the Germans that are staying there, the country is full of them!! We then sussed out all that there is to do in Piha, came back and chatted with some more off the people staying in the hostel and played cards, cooked dinner that evening, cleaned out the car and watched the film the Rainmaker!!
