So the day we left Koh Tao we met these guys from Franklin, New Zealand. they went to Puke High and it turned out that Ryan even knew one of them. Now Ryan and I had had this conversation many a time about whether or not we would ever come across anyone that we knew, we had finally agreed that we wouldn't see anyone on the entire trip, good to know that we were wrong though.
So anyway we caught the slow boat from Koh Tao to the main land where we went into town looking for some drink and kai before our bus arrived. Once again we came across a new kind of pancake and like always they are amazing with some kind of yellowy cream, chocolate and sprinkles all over them. I defiantly think we're going to miss all these bad street foods once we leave Asia. We took the over night bus and arrived at about 5am the next morning to a another hot day in Bangkok, caught a taxi to our mates house (the mexican guy we met in Pai) then because it was just to hot we just chilled watching movies in the lounge until it was dark then headed out to Khao San Road
We took these awesome boats up the river until just before Khao San.  When we got there we had a good look around and it was defiantly a lot different looking to last time we were there (songkrong).  When people tell you about how Thai's always trying to hustle you over to their shop for a suit, they are talking about this road. No need to go far and there is a new person asking "you want a suit my friend" every 5 meters, also a lot of offers to see some ping pong shows, whatever they must be. The bars have people holding up signs saying, very strong alcohol, we don't ask for id.  You can get fake licences, diplomas etc.
The next day we went to go check out some of the main malls of Bangkok but to our surprise when we turned up they where all shut as the red shirts had set up a 2km long rally camp site. We walked through all of it felling awkward as the only white people we could see and a lot of eyes following you down the street.  We stopped in at a stall and Ryan bought a red shirt bandanna then kept going.  It took quite awhile to get past all the red shirts and after we finally got out on the other side we found that the last and final mall was open, MBK. Had a really good look around which took a few hours as it was huge, even skipped a floor cause it was taking too long. We decided to go to their cinema and watch iron man 2, Was really good.  After the mall checked out Khao San again.  This time decided to buy a taylor made jacket.
The next day (our last day in Thailand) spent the morning not getting up to much.  We then missioned it on boats, buses and foot to get to Toom's house (we stayed with him our first days in Bangkok).  This was to pick up the video camera that had finally been given the ok by customs and not a day to spare and only took one month to sort out.  One last time we misshed it to Khao san so I could pick up my suit.  Had some pancakes, pad thai and then discovered an ice-cream shop.  Had a look at the menu and decided to get the biggest sunday they had.  Eight different fancy flavors of ice cream, topped with cream, cherries, chocolate sauce, berrys, pineapple and nuts.  We chowed it down.
Back at the house now packing our gears for India.  Only a few hours till we fly.  South East Asia went by really fast, but we saw and did a bunch of things.  Plenty move adventures in the future. Lets hope we have another spectacular month, free from injury and police.
