Travelling up the Brazilian coast, on my way to Salvador, I stopped in Vitoria, as it sounded quite dramatic and interesting in my guide book. It was wrong! It was pretty boring, the centre was dead when I was there (Sunday) and it was really hot! Things improved the next day when I crossed the river to its sister settlement of Vila Velha. Still, I dont think a return journey is on the cards!

The most boring city in the world. You are very wrong, you wanted diverssão and went to the wrong place, the center is almost dead anyway, because there just has old buildings, if you wanted excitement and diverssão should have gone in the Bermuda Triangle, on the beach singing and street of mud in Jardim da Penha. I think if you had known better win, would not put that legend to talk of the town. But okay, you passed by here not only how many days stayed and had a mistaken belief and totally wrong about the city.
