We arrived in Hoi An at around 6pm and were happy to find a reasonably cheep hotel for our gang to stay at for a few days.
It has been a while since we've stayed put and ended up staying in Hoi An for 3 days. This town is dangerous for any female on the planet. It basically consists of a gazillion tailor shops and restaurants. Nae's eyes light up like a kid in a candy store and managed to snap up 8 articles of clothing and a pair of shoes for less than $200 US all custom tailored. Shaun surprisingly took the opportunity to get a pin stripe suit made, 2 dress shirts, and even a pair of custom made leather shoes, and Shaun wasn't even feeling sick - crazy! The rest of our time here in Hoi An was spent riding bicycles to the beach and checking out My Son (pronounced Mee Sun) Ruins that date back to the 13th century. We managed to stumble upon some great restaurants that served red wine from Dalat Vietnam in between fittings and once our clothes were made and sights were seen we needed to get out of there quick before we spent all our money on clothes. We took a night bus on day 3 to Nha Trang which was another long haul on an uncomfortable bus.
